Dynamite Entertainment to Produce Army of Darkness Miniatures Game
Dynamite Entertainment has officially announced development of a miniature-based tabletop game based on Army of Darkness.
Designed by Lynnvander Studios (Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Board Game, and Dynamite’s Re-Animator), Army of Darkness: The Board Game will see players take on the role of unlikely hero Ash Williams, the chainsaw-wielding, time traveling S-Mart employee. In thismultiplayer game, Ash and his allies will lead an army of medieval knights against a horde of unliving Deadite zombies.
“Army of Darkness was the first license we signed at Dynamite and it still holds a very special place in our heart,” said CEO Nick Barrucci, “so we couldn’t think of a better, more exciting brand to use for our first miniatures game. We can’t wait to show tabletop gamers and horror fans what we have planned!”
The core game is currently planned to include a number of highly detailed miniatures and be supplemented with expansions, accessories, and other separately released add-ons.
