Before this time, investing was a very tasking exercise. You’d spend hours with a financial advisor learning about assets to invest in and on risks worth taking.
Today, Investment apps have made investing more accessible to more people. You can now invest, check market trends, make plans, and even move money with just a few taps and no form of human interaction.
However, choosing the right investment app is very important. With so many apps offering similar features, it becomes difficult to decide on the best investment app to suit your needs.
We consulted Ryan Dean Hoggan, a leading expert in real estate investment and NFT expert, to enlighten our picks on the best apps for investors in 2022. Below is the full transcript of our interview with him
Why should investors harness the power of mobile Apps in 2022?
Ryan Dean Hoggan: The 21st century has offered breakthroughs in terms of technological advancements, and it is only wise that investors make optimal use of these opportunities. With the thousands of investments apps that are readily available at our fingertips, we can invest efficiently and with ease.
These apps do not only allow you to keep track of your holdings from anywhere, but they also provide access to a wide range of other investment options and offer educational resources to assist newcomers in getting started.
What are the factors to be considered before choosing an investment App?
Ryan: Keep investment options, account types, and investment education resources in mind when evaluating apps. Also, think about how you plan to use the app and what you intend to use it for. Lastly, go for apps that charge lesser fees with better services.
What Apps do you think are indispensable to modern-day investors?
Ryan: There are many great applications today, such that it is almost impossible to choose the best from the pool. Nevertheless, while making my pick, I will try to restrict my focus to certain features that make an investment app very useful.
Invstr: is designed to help new investors get started with stocks.
Acorns: remains one of the most popular apps for savings
Fidelity Investments: best app for managing the whole of your financial life
DealCheck: the best app with important metrics to make real estate investment decisions
Wealthfront: best app to help you with portfolio management
Webull: best app for active investing and saving for retirement
In your own opinion, what do you think is the best and most secured investment for 2022?
Ryan: Generally, no form of investment is totally devoid of risks; I myself am investing in NFT projects since big metaverse developments are happening this year. However, I strongly advocate for real estate investments as the most secured and lucrative form of investment in modern times. This is because lands and housing hardly depreciate in value.
Finally, Ryan, what advice would you give to all budding investors?
Ryan: I have received a lot of emails starting with “Ryan Hoggan, can you advise me on …” and my answer has always been the same. No matter what you are investing in, it is important that you do your research before venturing into it.
Secondly, know that investment is a risk and that anything can happen. This should not discourage you but rather encourage you to take only calculated risks.
Lastly, patience is key to getting any return on your investment.
