In the episode “Candy Morningstar”, Candy and Lucifer travel to Los Angeles to meet Lucifer’s family and friends. At the party Candy convinces all of Lucifer’s friends and family, including his one true love Chloe, that she’s an airhead. However, Candy simply put on a realistic act, in order to fool all of Lucifer’s friends and family members. In order to try and trick the Goddess into revealing the information which Lucifer was seeking to find out from his mother. However as Chloe was out of the loop, she didn’t take the news of Lucifer and Candy’s engagement well.
Do Lucifer and Candy get divorced after the events of “Candy Morningstar”?
In a later episode which takes place a year after “Candy Morningstar” it is revealed that Candy and Lucifer are currently in the process of having their fake marriage annulled. However many viewers assumed that Lucifer and Candy may have feelings for each other as they had yet to annul their wedding after a year of separation. Although following the events of the episode “Candy Morningstar”, Candy did change her name back to her maiden name Candy Fletcher.
Are Lucifer and Candy destined to get back together:
Although Lucifer told Candy that she could keep the wedding ring that he had given her, during their fake engagement, Lucifer later finds out his soul mate is none other than Chloe Decker. The detective which he has an off again and on again relationship with and to whom he eventually professes his love to. However, Candy Fletcher is a reoccurring character who sporadically appears in episodes of Lucifer, from season to season.
