While a DeLorean isn’t a particularly fast car, it could probably win a race against any other car, due to the fact that once it reaches 88 miles per hour, it can transport to the finish line in the blink of an eye.

The Aston Martin DB9 which appeared in the James Bond film Goldfinger, which starred Sean Connery as James Bond is one of the most beloved Bond cars of all time. However, it was no ordinary DB9 as it featured upgrades such as ram bumpers and machine guns. Which Bond used to allude his enemies.
The 1970 Dodge Challenge from Vanishing Point:
In Vanishing Point the film’s hero Kowalski makes a bet that he can drive from Denver, Colorado to San Francisco, California within 15 hours, which would be a feat back in 1970. The 1970 Dodge Challenge which featured in Vanishing Point featured an impressive 440 horse power engine and is one of the most iconic cars to feature in a film.
The 1985 Modena Spyder California from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off:
In Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, the film’s central protagonist Ferris, who was played by a young Matthew Broderick, convinced his best friend to steal his father’s 1985 Modena Spyder California for the day. So that the two as well as Ferris’ girlfriend, would be able to skip school and explore New York. At the time, the car was worth an estimated $300,000 as it was comprised of a V-8 engine, a steel tube subframe and fibreglass bodywork. That many people believe was modelled on a Ferrari’s bodywork.
The 2008 Audi R8 in the original Iron Man film:
In the Original Iron Man film which was released over a decade ago, the film’s antihero Tony Stark who was a billionaire drove around in a flash Audi R8. Which boasted 420 horse power as well as a powerful V-8 engine. In fact the Audi R8 could reach 62 miles per hour in just 4.6 seconds.

If the DeLorean had enough time to time travel to the future, it could theoretically win a famous movie car race. However, by far the fastest car which featured in the list above is the 2008 Audi R8.
